Committed to delivering on the promise of sustainable plastics

Reinventing the way plastics are used and recycled.

We aim to be part of the global movement to tackle plastic waste pollution. Our groundbreaking recycling technology tackles the most challenging waste plastic our society produces. By purifying and removing this waste plastic of all contaminants, we allow it to go back into products as an ultra-pure virgin like plastic. By doing this ReVentas will close the loop in the circular economy and allow companies to access new sustainable Polyethylene and Polypropylene resins at scale.

The Challenge

ReVentas see plastic waste as a valuable resource that has yet to be harnessed until now.

Currently only a small percentage of post-consumer and post-industrial plastics are recycled typically into low value applications. However, the vast majority of waste is still landfilled or incinerated with the valuable Polyethylene and Polypropylene contained inside lost from the circular economy.

Our technology changes that by taking this material at scale, separating, purifying and tuning the Polyethylene and Polypropylene to deliver a unique virgin-like resin designed for its end application.

This is an entirely new way to extract value from waste plastics and enable it to be used in vastly more applications including food packaging, films and consumer products solving the problem of single use plastic once and for all.

BeforeAfter

Our Technology

ReVentas’ patented technology separates Polyethylene and Polypropylene of all odours, colours and contaminants, resulting in a pure recycled Polyethylene or Polypropylene resin. In doing this we don’t just recycle the plastic we rejuvenate its properties, transforming it into a new product regardless of its previous life and allowing it to be used in any application.

The ReVentas process moves away from the need for large Petrochemical facilities, reducing the capital cost of infrastructure and allowing the technology to be deployed at a variety of scales suitable for national and regional recycling. The technology is highly energy efficient reducing the environmental footprint of recycling and is far more environmentally friendly that traditional petrochemical manufacturing of plastics.
